If you intend to do business with me, please be aware, that I am only available through agencies unless you can address the following issues:

As I am working as a self-employed computer scientist, I am not able to deal with the usual conditions of purchase, presented by companies today. I would need to hire a law firm to review if I can sign these texts.
An agency usually does this for me and finally presents me contracts I can read and understand.
Many companies impose terms of payment, which are not acceptable for a one man show like me. I am toooo small to buffer 90 days or even more.
Furthermore, the size of contracts I am making is too small to implement factoring and secure payments through this facility.
I am not able to offer fixed prices for a project. Unfortunately I have made bad experiences with it.

At the end of the day, it still would be cheaper for you, to make a contract directly with me, but modern business seems to rule this out.
Hence, we fall back to the effective means for making contracts between big companies and a single person. We need a mediating facility and exactly this is provided through agencies.

At this place I would like to assure all agencies, who are contacting me, that I will not disclose any of the information you are giving me.
As it gives the basis for our business, I also will not even try to do a business, I have come to know through a contact with you. According to the common terms, used to protect your business against such kind of fraud I assure you, that I will comply with these terms, as I view them as the rules of an honest merchant.

I have learned a few lessons.

The last one was, when my customer dictated tough project deadlines and in the same course refused to pay more than eight hours per day.

The result?

I work for a daily rate, only.
My rate is not negotiable.
